A crucial moment in the history of Byoblu was the episode of serious censorship that hit Claudio Messora's channel on YouTube. In detail, on March 30, 2021, YouTube carried out the "permanent" deletion of the ByoBlu channel, which had over half a million subscribers. This channel, active for 14 years, had published around two thousand videos, including interviews with scientists, researchers, political scientists and journalists. The act of cancellation had a significant impact on the channel and its user base, cutting off access to a large collection of informative content and discussions on a wide range of topics. On April 25, 2023, Byoblu's entry on Wikipedia was removed suddenly and without valid reasons, sparking debates about the lack of transparency and fairness of the platform.
